The key to keywords....and a few other tips

Do you have a website?  If you are a business owner, then I should hope you at least have a basic blog.
Now, I know you’re probably saying “But I have a website, but how do I get people to actually see it?”
This is where some of the behind the scene nitty gritty work will need to take place.  Don’t worry thought, it’s not hard!!!
Lets say your website is all about how to take care of cute little pets (because that’s a fairly easy topic, and who doesn’t like pets?)

So you have a couple posts on how to give your dog a proper bath, and the right kind of food to buy if you want to get a parrot.
Now, how do you optimize this so you get the greatest visibility?
You use keywords......of course, that’s easier said then done.
In the body of your post, string in some words that one of your potential followers would use while searching in Google.
Example: Your writing a post on how to properly feed a puppy and how much food you should give it etc..
Instead of just posting a recipe, or the food amount (e.g. half a cup dry food from xyz brand, and a teaspoon of warm milk to soften it...*I’m not an expert at feeding puppies so don’t follow that advice:)*)
Instead make it fun.  Maybe describe the first time you got a puppy, and how (if you did) you had trouble feeding him/her.
Make it engaging, fun, and add details that you would want to read.  THEN, drop in words like “how to feed a puppy” (e.g for tie in: “when I got a puppy for my birthday, I was so excited.  He was a small, black, wiggle worm of joy.  Of course, I had no idea how to feed a puppy!”)
See how you can weave it in?
You also want to use other words.  in fact before you write your next post, sit down and write all the words or phrases you would use to search for the type of article you’re going to write.
I really hope this has helped you.  And keep an eye out, I will be writing more on this!
